They sent me a picture of a folding powerchair and a 40kg hoist in a VW ID3, and seemed very confident about other vehicles I suggested (ID4, Enyaq, Ioniq 5). They were very friendly and I’m hoping to visit them in the next few weeks to see what the possibilities could be.
Thanks. Ideally I’d have an electric WAV but Allied when I met with them thus week confirmed what I was thinking. How?! They have a prototype that will only do 45 miles, with no idea how to improve on that. That’s no good for nearly anyone, commercially unviable and Motability are saying come back to us when you have an electric WAV that will do at least 200 miles.
