This is Europcar. They make up their own rules, then break them. Whatever contract they have with Motability/RAC they make a point of supplying the worst cars they have available. Plenty of history with these people…
We thought we had struck lucky with Europcar when the provided us with a Mercedes GLB for a week last year. Other than a stain on the front passenger seat, the car was clean and had no odours. The problem was that the car was cr@p as the digital dashboard kept crashing and I had a bland screen and no idea how fast I was going. Also, it went into ‘limp home mode’ once and I couldn’t go over 10mph unless going into kick down. To be fair, these were Mercedes problems, not Europcar ones.
