Not sure if it’s true of course but my local Kia dealer just informed me Sportage is to return between April 1-4th they aren’t sure on price point and he was honest that Automatics are hard to come by for private buyers ATM also so to expect heavy prices for a auto. Lowest entry his informed guess was 699 and a GT trim model starting from 1299 AP.
All in all I hope he’s right as I will be ordering straight away! Also mentioned Kia have a lot of Sportages due in the UK for end of March/April so as long as your not specific on colour’s there is a good chance of getting a car quickly also.
