Prior to covid our annual mileage was 15k. At 2 quid a litre that would equate to £350 a month. I think we will see many people adapt their habits especially as come April we will see an increase of around 55% in energy bills with perhaps another 50% in October. Fewer trips for pleasure, working from home, wearing more jumpers etc. Likely to impact the global economy with China already seeing exports tailing off due to falling demand. At present many are spending money on things they would have done so ordinarily during the pandemic but thus is likely to fizzle out.
