its certainly going up all time, but rarely comes down again. leccy is going up to 27p a unit for me, so not quite as bad as i thought, but standing charge has doubled. im currently glad i dont do a lot of miles and i have to ask myself..is it nesessary? still its cheaper than petrol for now.
Yeah we got to pay for the loses and the bust energy companies that’s the reason for the rise in the standing charge. So even if you cut back usage and use no gas to heat your house for instance, you still pay.
