Sorry to here that @Tharg. My ex-wife’s parents sodded of to Spain after retirement while they were still reasonably healthy, despite not much money. They got quite a few good years in the sun and excellent medical care and both died there. The rest of the family weren’t too impressed at being abandoned but in their circumstances I’d probably do the same.
