    What if you’ve extended already and your 5 years is coming up and nothing is suitable or is affordable. luckily for me i ordered before covid and my car was sitting at the dealers during the 1st lockdown in 2020 and didn’t get it till late june.

    Personally I think MBO make more if you extend the lease unless you doing 20k a year and would hit 100k over the 5 years. In that case they may say no, but if your mileage is average or lower than average they on a win win.

    So for me I would only extend as a last option and would consider a trade off maybe as you paying in most cases the same amount for a 3 year old car as for a new one, if you paid a high ap to start with then it makes sense to extend but if you have not then imo it doesn’t.

    Tuff times though for the scheme and choices and i feel sorry for many having to make hard choice’s right now or waiting well over the 3 months for delivery after ordering and not knowing when that new car will arrive, or those that have had orders cancelled altogether.
