I currently follow VW private leasers and buyer and their delivery times and up to now have not seen anything different in my Motability delivery times and theirs, though I naturally thought there was the possibility of discrimination at first but now know there isn’t but will be the first to come back here and say so should I see anything different in future.
The problem I see as Motability customers is the coming and goings of cars as you simply can’t plan for anything and this is the only advantage private buyers or leaser’s have that I can see but being a bit more more truthful about delivery time by the manufactures would be nice.
I am in the lucky position this change over that my current car is still serving me well but I know what it is like waiting for a car when your current car isn’t suitable like my last change over was with WLTP and its worst still if you don’t have a car at all for sure.
