Hi Mike I had a test drive a year ago before I had my Toyota Chr hybrid yes most of your journeys under 40 mph or just over will be in eco pure electric hybrid mode I go to my sisters in my Toyota in the next village 4 miles away in eco mode down country lanes etc ! After 45 mph the petrol engine kicks in what put me off the Hyundai Ioniq was it was too low for me to get in and out
