My wife due to her disability can only drive an automatic vehicle as per her licence.
On a recent trip to a dealer the mobility rep stated that as she can only drive an auto we should be able to apply a grant to cover the disparity between the manual and auto as my wife has no option other than to drive an automatic.
Having had a number of mobility vehicles over the years we we not aware that this was a possibility, so my question would be is the dealer correct and if so is the grant means tested?
