Rubyru76. We’ve had our XC40 T5 Recharge Inscription Pro since last July. We charge off the 3 pin plug. Economics for us don’t justify shelling out for a wall charger which only allows the 10A charge rate to go up to 16A. The range for local driving is 22 to 27 miles (in eco mode) in the summer and 18-22 in cold weather. We regularly do 100 mile each way journeys which are mostly dual carriageway and motorway and we drive at 65-70. Going up starting with a full battery we get about 60-65mpg, coming back with an empty battery 40-45mpg. Another regular journey is slow and hilly cross country of about 70 miles each way, we manage 48-50 going up and 40-45 coming back. The seats are supremely comfortable both for MrsW and me.
