As good as they are in some areas.
In recent years, it certainly is slipping.
I posted a while back about one of my experiences, where motability effectively accused me of lying.
A document was signed using my signature… By a dealer staff member. They also lied about a technical fault with the car.
More recently I had a breakdown, a pipe blew off the back of radiator, engine overheated with a red warning.
Rac quoted 7 hours and told me to leave car at road side (blamed a shortage of drivers)
Europcar provided a dirty hire car. (they lied showing a checkout sheet saying it was cleaned)
Motability said that the response from rac and europcar was fair and Reasonable
Seems they prefer keeping scheme partners happy.
