Ford Escort Mk6, 1.6 ZETEC CVT Ghia Estate.
Owned from new, first visit to the Garage after 6 weeks, total ownership of three years, 3 months of which in total it spent at the mechanics with fun stuff like the CVT not working anymore, misfires, running on three cylinders, trim falling off, third brake light not working etc.
Absolute worst car i’ve ever sat in and burned me to the point where i, to this day, wouldn’t touch a ford with a 10 foot pole anymore. In the end, we had a 3 year old write off without ever having an accident.
