Private VAT help would be a good addition or an alternative to Motability and a few years ago I read an item how they do it in some western countries where they don’t have a Motability system but have help in the purchase of new cars in the way of purchase tax relief.
Wouldn’t mind an alternative to run along side Motability but at least given a bit of choice.
Another area Motability could improve is having in-house adaption installers in stead of leaving us who need adaption at the mercy of private installers and as thing are now with the likes of hoists costing about £600 new and your old hoist being returned with your old car for the installer to remove and sell it for a couple of hundred quid on the likes of E-Bay.
