Hi everyone, thinking of ordering Arctic White MG HS Exclusive Auto with Red/Black trim this coming Tuesday, but reading everyone’s problems getting the car is giving second thoughts but do like the car, has all the features I would want plus many more, dealer told me after the test drive that it would arrive May/June, but reading on here that seems not to be the case, don’t want to given false promises and strung along and end up waiting until September/October to receive the vehicle ???
No matter which manufacturer’s vehicle you order there are currently very long lead times, with a great deal of uncertainty over delivery dates.
Often the dealers are just as much in the dark over expected delivery dates, so no matter what vehicle you order, take any delivery date forecast with a large pinch of salt!
At least you were lucky enough to have a test drive and seem to have found your ideal vehicle. If so, the sooner you order it, the sooner you enter a potentially long waiting list.
You could also try ringing around other MG dealers in case they have in stock your chosen vehicle (due to cancelations etc). This may work better if you are flexible on colour or trim etc.
