Sticking stictly to the rules remote ordering is not allowed but if we cast our minds back about 4 years ago Marshall’s of south Oxford were taking orders over the phone hand over fist because they were giving big discounts.
This went on for a little while until it flagged up on Motability servers that Marshall’s were taking an unprecedentedly amount of orders and when they investigated it came to light about the remote ordering.
Had it not been for the flood of orders none would have been the wiser so if the dealer is willing and you keep stum you might get away with it but in the current climate of the sellers market I don’t think dealers will do it unless your friendly with them nudge, nudge, wink, wink know what I mean. ??
