It’s beginning to feel a bit like Christmas . . .
Does a ton up on his sleigh . . .
The boys of the NYPD Choir were singing Galway Bay . . .
Yup. It’s that time of year again and I’m finally beginning to feel ‘in the mood’. (And drains be damned!) -7c here last night and the morning’s all cold and twinkly. Strange sight first thing – the Sun hadn’t quite risen and the Moon was still well up, so the front of the house was being lit equally by both – frosty sparkles with a hint of pink. Very pretty.
The Tree is up and suitably decorated with lights, tinsel, gold baubles, crackers, sea horses, a lovely pagan Sun medallion and, as the crowning glory – Bagpus. For what can possibly be more comforting that the benevolent smile of Bagpus looking down on us from atop the tree?
