No marching to work, Rene. Used to be able to do it, but along with jogging and running, all methods of locomotion new reduced to a mild stumble. Thought you might have come across the “military” moleskin – not fluffy like the UK stuff. The latter is OK if you just want to keep warm. If you want to do stuff, then the canvas style gear is the one to have.
If you do want to order some of those strides, then do not be tempted to get them from a German supplier. I did and they were terrible quality. No button fly just a zip that broke. Not the proper heavyweight material. Got mine through Ebay and a supplier called Epic Militaria. Cost about £30. This is the second pair. Expanding waist no longer fits originals
