In these difficult times I would hold out for your new XC40, it’s what myself and many others are doing, though in my case its a VW Tiguan with a 6-7month delivery time, hopefully.
My current car does suit my needs but has a few niggles I’d like to move on from but not the end of the World having to wait for a new car.
It’s a different matter if the car I have was not suitable or even worst, you never had a car like some on here are in that boat.
I think in our cases the worst thing is not knowing what’s going on and hope things get a bit better in the New Year.
