Well equipped, and all specs should make it to the scheme, at least as ICE version. Not 100% sure on the PHEV, might be a Tucson situation where we get all specs but at the start, some nonsensical engine/gearbox combinations (top spec on the Tucson was only available with manual gearbox/150hp).
For those who don’t know, the blind spot view monitor is probably one of the most useful gadgets that came out in recent times – when indicating, depending on left or right, the left or right dial in the instrument cluster shows a camera view into the blind spot, and generally behind you. Wish that was standard on all cars, it just makes things so much easier/safer.
Fingers crossed that we get all versions/engines/gearbox combinations, at somewhat reasonable prices (the Tucson, same platform car, is £5000 AP as PHEV top spec, and has less equipment since the blind spot cameras etc are part of a £1200 extra package).
It’s good looking, too, albeit subjective. I hope we get that matte green colour that the koreans get (it’s a limited colour, to a certain spec that doesn’t exist in europe – kinda hard to go through the korean configurator with google translate lol).
I really like it, depending on the price, it’s probably going to be one of the best choices in the segment.
