Bratwurst goes with everything – for germans, meat is the favourite vegetable. One of the most favourite breakfast food is raw pork (Mett on Broetchen/bread roll, called Mettbroetchen).
I entirely understand why a vegetable stew needs Bratwurst. And, Maggi (liquid seasoning), although not that easy to come by over here 🙁
