They’d be easy to steal. Multiple things: the cable is detachable on both sides, for starters. You can rip it out on both sides with enough force. They’re locked by a pin (or a latch, depending on the cable), enough force removes that.
You could also just cut it. 100% this has a power switch somewhere, if for example the app doesn’t connect and you can’t disconnect the charger via mobile. Once the power is switched off, you can safely cut the cable at the plug. If it doesn’t have a manual power switch, i’d never plug it into anything. It may be behind a lockable latch or something, but that won’t stop douchebags who steal things for a living.
Another thing to consider, nobody interested in the weight? They say it’s gonna be “around 50lbs”. Which i’d be incredibly surprised by. My first guess for a 8kw pack plus a 3kw inverter would be considerably closer to 70lbs. Heaving 50lbs in and out of the boot constantly gets old really quick (i had a remote controlled car that weighed slightly over 55lbs, and sold it because of that reason).
