Security measures have never stopped thieves before and who knows what lengths these scumbags would go to for money. I have never looked at an electric vehicle plug and its housing, but if it is plastic, I am sure they would simply smash it up to get the cable off or maybe the charger side?
Humanity is only humanity when all are treated the same regardless of their skin tone, religious beliefs and geography!
