Sonny, have you asked the dealer if they can help with a courtesy car? I ordered a Mini Countryman at the end of February and told the dealer we had to have the car before the beginning of June as we were expecting a baby. He promised the car would be ready by early May at the latest. Then the chip shortage hit and my car was hit with delay after delay. When I spoke to my salesman he spoke to the manager who in turn spoke to Mini who arranged a courtesy car to be delivered to us in mid-May. I had a problem with the first car (Kia Niro) which was giving me bad back ache and they had the car swapped over to a brand new BMW 218i Gran Coupe. I still have the BMW as my car has only just been completed and I’m due to pick it up on Friday.
It might be worth asking, you never know they might surprise you. Failing that, speak to Motability themselves as they offered to help find a solution if I had no joy with the dealer.
