The golden rule, never put in your PIN until you have seen and are happy with the car. Many dealers will try and “get all the paperwork done first”. I know many favour BMW´s but I had a bad experience with a dealer trying to get the PIN put in straight away and registering the car a whole month early before they had even taken delivery of it, followed by a problem with the gearbox.
