The GTE plugin has a £3295 AP have you factored that into your cost, the ID3 was under £1500?
No, since it’s a comparison of running cost. Our GTE would indeed be £4500 AP (whereas our ID3 would be £2400 AP). This comparison is compatible with any plugin hybrid on the scheme currently though, including the Seat Leon e-Hybrid which is rather comparable to the Golf (just slightly less power) and cost £0 AP.
Rene, regarding tumble drying at night to take advantage of cheaper rates, most kitchen machines have safety interlocks and unless they have built-in delay timers they can’t be used unattended.
Ours (both 1 year old Samsung machines) both have delay timers, so that shouldn’t be an issue.
