If the Skoda meets your needs, I’d go for that. Limited range and awful performance of Vauxhall do not recommend it. I’ve had two Skoda, Superbs, and while the latter and the Kodiaq are very different beasts, I found the quality, reliability and simple comfort and ease-of-use of the Skoda to be really good.
