Agree with you about the Farnborough airshow. Can remember going there as a kid when only British aeroplanes were allowed (that was when we still had some!). Most fondly remembered bits are seeing the Vulcan rolled on climb-out, 111sqn aerobatic team using nine Lightning fighters, oddball items like the Fairey Rotodyne and Flying Bedstead.
