Clearly, engineers assumed you’d never park forwards. Or pass an oncoming truck slowly on a narrow road.
That said, people said there’s a switch next to the gear knob that activates them (first post here: https://www.konaforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=212), in multiple threads that gets repeated.
Now, that being said, what’s the point. Pressing a button for the sensors is just an extra step (that you have to remember in the first place, having driven cars that do it automagically for decades, i know i wouldn’t) that does not make sense.
