My husband had a stroke because of a brain injury. He is paralysed down his right side and has epilepsy. His communication skills are limited and he as short term memory problems. He was on DLA but they transferred him to PIP and sent him for an assessment what a joke. His Dr signed him of as permanently unfit to work but they ignored that. As soon as you see him and listen to him you know that he cannot work. They still proceeded with the assessment and asked him questions he couldn’t answer. If they send for him again I am going to refuse where is the common sense.
