    What the article doesn’t say is that E10 will contain “upto” 10% ethanol.

    I work p/t at a supermarket petrol station and we’ve been advised by the fuel supplier that when deliveries of E10 start, the amount of ethanol will vary slightly from delivery to delivery.

    As above, Wigwam’s MX5 is in the minority as the vast majority of cars made after 2001 will be fine. The other exception is the VW group 1.6 FSi engine most common in the Mk5 Golf but also used in Passats and Audi A3s from the mid 2000s.

    Interestingly, we’ve already seen an increase in Super U/L sales quantities as people get misinformed and panic.
