Funnily enough I felt much the same way about Gervaise Fenn’s Oxford antics – particularly Parson’s Pleasure. 😀 Nice to see that ‘the rollers’ are still there, though, even if the nude bathing isn’t (stopped in 1991, alas). And yes, I have gone over the rollers a couple of times in a punt (very naughty, very painful, and I really don’t recommend it). Dame’s Delight was closed in 1970 and I never had the pleasure of swimming there.
