I can totally agree with your perspective, Coastal View, except that Motability Operations gains nothing except embarrassment by making more profit. Excess profits (or in reality surpluses) show the Company is not managing its finances properly. It does of course depend on the charity holding it to account, and I’m not convinced it does.
