I am due to change but lack of availability and too high advance prices on the few possibly available that ‘could’ just about suit my needs means there is pretty much nothing available for me right now.
I spoke to Motability last week and they said the way forward may be to extend the lease, hope that something comes up in the meantime that is suitable and within budget and possibly try to go for a grant during the course of the extension for the ones that are suitable but out of price range.
It’s pretty much an extend and watch ready to pounce scenario. Due to Covid, shielding and the lockdowns, I’m in the ‘lucky’ position of just being below the mileage required to extend for two years if needs be.
