I learned to ride on a Yamaha 175, mud-plugging. Not only fun but really gave a good grounding in how to handle a bike in bad road conditions. Should be made part of the ‘Learning’ process, imho!
I can’t imagine where kids learn to drive/ride now that most of the old air fields are housing estates.
