Had me a bit worried there gillan because renewing my license the other day it did not ask for a photo but just checked and sometimes they use the one they already have.

When I had to inform DVLA of my stroke in 2008 they then issued me a license for 10 years so my current license has been in use since 2018 and now reaching 70 in October has to be renewed again but assume, or hope, they use my last photo that is only 4 years old but I haven’t change anyway since I passed my test at 21 years old anyway.?

Also noticed when renewing that I did not have to report the stroke indecent again unless I’d had another one but it says in the online form “only tell us of new changes to medical conditions and we don’t need to be informed about previous conditions already on record” or words to that effect and that’s a relief the way doctor surgery are at the moment.

At least DVLA take on board what my doctor says that my condition will never change unlike the DWP who seem to think I might get better tomorrow or the day after.?
