Sounds like a great plan 🙂

I’ve just had a call from the HA finacial assessment team, very nice lady who said that as he’s on Universal Credit LCWWRA as well as PIP Standard living/Enhanced Mobility it was a mere formality, still took almost 30mins though!.

Bacically it’s an upstairs 1 bed flat (which we knew) with a wet room and no bath (which is what we have here), neighbours are all “older” so no kids or idiots (hopefully!).  She’s passed it back to the rental team who’ll give us a date/time for a viewing, usually you have to sign then and there but with him being Autistic she’s asked for a 24hr extension for him to think about it.  Also asking them about the pet policy as he may want an indoor cat for company, we could always say it was a support cat 🙂

Apparently there’s no curtains, flooring or appliances etc.  She said we could apply for a grant but as I’ve saved some of his benefits for this we don’t need them so that will speed things up as well.

Now just a matter of dragging him out of the house to go look at it!

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
