Looks lovely in blue mate, and glad you’ve had the same experience of all the other Kona owners. Best range I’ve had so far on a charge is 341 miles! You’ll fully work out EV driving in a few weeks.
Regen and not using the footbrake is the hardest part to get used too. My startup procedure is land tracking off, auto hold on and then select the drive. With the regen, in the menu’s there is an Auto Recuperation setting, turn that on, you will get Auto Recuperation shown on the speedo with a small white box above it, when driving and a car in front is in range, the box will go blue. As the car in front slows, your car will automatically slow using regen. I now use that exclusively, and drive in level 0 (Coasting) and just use the flappy paddles for additional breaking (works just like changing down in a conventional car) Pulling the left paddle and holding it gives max regen, but you will occasionally have to boost that with the foot brake. Only other time I use the footbrake is once at a full stop to put the auto hold on.
Over 8k since April, averaging 4.8miles/km and total running cost to date £243.78, BMW at 51mpg would have cost me £958! Enjoy your fun cheap motoring 🙂
