Really? You have to wait for his secretary to get back from her holiday before you can know the result of the scan? Can he not read and use the telephone at the same time, or something?
It gets clearer by the day how much the Tories want to run the NHS into the ground so they can sell of the final few ‘profitable’ bits and then introduce American-style Health Care to Britain. I am so glad that DH gets Private Health Care through his work.
By the way, I went to reorder my prescription on-line this morning to discover that my ‘wonderful’ GP has now decided to also remove Amitriptyline from my list. So that was another ‘phone call to the Surgery this morning to arrange another ‘phone call from the GP tomorrow afternoon. I now have to dance this little jig every time I need 3 of my regular meds. Think of this repeated across the board every day – it’s no wonder GP’s never have time to actually see any patients.
Sigh.
