Sad to say but we may need a weather event like they are currently experiencing on the West coast of America to convince some of the need to change our polluting way. If you can convince some on this Forum to realise they are not only destroying the present for some but also the future for all then preach away Brydo!
As far as waiting until 2030 before making the change events will undoubtedly overtake that timescale. Does anybody seriously think there will be a viable market for second hand ice cars the closer we get to to the cut off date? Isn’t that how Motability help balance the books by relying on the sale of their second hand vehicles? They wont want a fleet of vehicles rapidly depreciating in value on their books. I’ll wager that by 2026 there will be very few ice cars on offer and that the taxes on those vehicles will have increased massively.
