Yes I fear that the dealer is full of BS. Colour can be changed until spec is locked down, which isn’t until a few weeks before build. Our Tiguan is Grey and it suits the car as it masks the grey plastic side sills. Seen a few in Nightshade Blue, which is quite nice but looks green.
