Hello Newfie
Yep it’s been awhile since we last spoke and that time of ordering has come around again.
Cast your mind back to the last time in 2018 I was on a good deal for the SEL Touran and cancelled because of delivery times nearing on 9 month (some things never change?) because of WLTP so ordered a KIA Carens off the shelf.
With that in mind I’m not too worried about delivery times this time around because I have the all important hoist that I lack on last change over and the KIA has been a very good workhorse but lacks the ease of driving of the VW DSG and Auto-Hold combinations so I’m returning to the VW stable.
A UK Tiguan forum I follow has been talking about 26 weeks for the R-Line but they say about 6 to 8 weeks for the Elegance but that seems to be more of a dream than a reality but like I said it’s not such a problem this time round but do wonder if that forum are getting there 6 to 8 weeks mixed up with 16 to 18 weeks.
BTW I did wonder if the Newfie I’ve seen on that forum is you.
