I don’t have either, but having sat in both, i can at least say that the XC40 is considerably better put together.
And, personally, i would argue that the Hybrid 225 is the better choice (better equipment and option for the “Black Pack”) – but that’s just me, i do understand the appeal of 300hp – but 225 would be enough for me, i’d rather have the extra equipment.
If i had to take one of these two, it’d be the XC40. Mainly for the quality, but for me there’s the additional problem that the steering wheel is blocking half the display behind it, unless i change my driving position/posture substantially.
