True dream cars would be Bentley Bentayga and Aston Martin DBX, but in so far as Motability is concerned I’d like to see the BMW X5. Ticks all the boxes for us and the adjustable suspension which you can lower to get in and out is great. Only problem might be the tailgate. The split design is daft and may make loading and unloading the wheelchair difficult. If choice on Motability continues to erode at the rate it has done in recent years, might be tempted to bail out in 3 years time and get one privately. I’ve even got the private number plate ready for it, X5 followed by my initials ?
