I suspect what it is is some form of pro forms invoice for ordering purposes. Get them to explain what you’re signing if unsure. No business should expect someone to sign something they don’t understand.
I had to do similar when ordering my MG I guess it’s an internal process to cover asses & ensure stuff doesn’t go wrong nor customers change their mind & blame a dealer.
