The guitar arrived yesterday! Sooo much easier to play than the old Rockwood and about a third lighter due to it having a poplar body rather than a denser, alder body. Have now mastered D, A and E major chords and am working on Bad Moon Rising and For What It’s Worth, plus the riff from Peter Gunn. Very simplified versions, of course, and it’s just strumming, but it teaches rhythm, ‘quick’ chord changes and a bit of ‘picking’.
It’s a laugh. 😀
