Thanks Wigwam, yes most journeys will be 20 miles or less as I can’t stay in the car too long. Probably once a month there’s maybe a 100 mile round trip but everything else is short. The Volvo looks lovely, I’ll check that out , I’m very rural and we can get cut off in snow which is why I think a 4 x 4 but that’s not essential. I tend not to want to be out in that sort of weather anyway.The Volvo being sturdy I think could be a good option. I did consider full electric but it’s perhaps a push too far at the moment. Maybe next time.
