Good to see free juice being utilised. In my area the free juice is currently limited to 7kW chargers at the rail station (using disabled status to get free parking), at the vinyard, and at several supermarkets. If it’s free then it’d be rude not to plug in for even 1/2 hour, but watch out for overstay charges over 2 & 3 hours.
Damn right, even the 7kWh chargers can put in a decent amount of free fuel pretty quickly as long as the batteries below 80%. Wiltshire have put in 5 free 50kWh chargers, which is great, although they are sadly old and not that reliable, and a trip up to Yorkshire was nearly free using the free (till October) 50kWh chargers up there.
Good tip on checking for overstay times though, thankfully, at least so far all these excess charges have been well displayed.
