I’ve never extended so I might be wrong but I think the 15,000 mile rule is a guarantee to extend but other things are taken into consideration too like the amount you paid for in the AP for instance if you say you paid an AP of £4,000 then at 3 years had 20,000 miles on the clock you would be a bit peeved if they refused you an extension.
