MickC – there are two aspects to a new Motability order. The bit with Motability is basically admin and the above confirms that they have received the order from the dealer, so it should just be a formality now and should go to confirmed status on Tuesday (it will look like the screenshot attached).
The more important part is the dealer securing a build slot (if it’s a factory order) or reserving a car for you (if in stock). A good dealer will do that before the Motability admin is completed, so in the case you describe they could have reserved the car for you. I doubt that you will get hold of the dealer before Tuesday now anyway, so hopefully it will all be resolved. Is this your first Motability car? If not, you will have to wait until your current lease expires before you can take delivery anyway.
